Art in Bloom 2022

Art in Bloom has a theme of spring; blooming life meets art and fashion. I designed and created a mini 3 look collection inspired by this theme. The opening event for the Springfield Art Museum was the fashion show.

Look 1:

One of my favorite silhouettes, the Piper dress from my Dauntless Collection, returns with a makeover. Feather trim, a sheer sleeve overlay, and beaded pearls complete this look.

Look 2:

Look 2 also began with a similar silhouette, then took a fun turn toward dance, ruffles, and gemstones. I wanted to capture the juvenile, young, and free aspect  of life that spring brings. 

Look 3:

Look 3 continues the theme of young, fun energy, incorporating many layers inspired by the petals on flowers. I wanted to embrace asymmetry and just have fun with this design.

Although this collection had a very quick creation, I enjoyed watching each look walk down the runway. It gave me the motivation I needed to have once again, and I can’t wait to bring more of my ideas to life in this show again next year.
